Examining Human Behaviour: Learn About Quandaries - By: Rammy Johnson, Posted on: 2007-12-11

Facts, oddities, incidental details: these are only some of the few things I examine in the following twenty features I have come up with concerning life and all its intricacies. Some will make you laugh, others will make you scratch your chin, but whatever your behaviour, each and every one of these twenty or so queries.

1) Why does the glue in a tube not stick to the tube itself?

2 ) Academic research has detailed reports stating that from a group of four men or women one will most certainly have a mental ailment of some kind or the other. Think about this calculation: if you have three normal friends, then you, unfortunately are the fourth one out. In other words, the fourth person with a mental illness is none other than you.

3) If you have either a television or a Video Receiver or a DVD or anything that needs a remote controller, this odd behaviour is familiar. Have you noticed that whenever the batteries begin to get dull, we press down harder? Are we expecting to squeeze more out of them?

4) How come Tarzan has no beard?

5) Switched those bulbs that are enclosed in tight plastic shutters? Have you noticed that whenever you go to do that there are always dead bugs inside? How did they manage to get there?

6) Why can't we ever manage to open a plastic bag on the first attempt?

7) Why do doctors use sterilized injections on death-role inmates?

8) Why do the banks charge extra if you withdraw more money than is present from your bank account? Don't they realize that there's no money in the account?

9) Why don't we ever hear jokes about father-in-laws?

10) Why do people believe it when scientists say that there are about four billion stars, but feel they must check it if someone places a sign saying wet paint on a piece of furniture?

11) How many times will be keep coming back and opening the door to the fridge when we are hungry? Do we really think that food will appear there miraculously?

12) Even though superman is supposed to be invincible and bullets ricochet off his chest, why does he duck if the villain lobs the pistol at him when the bullets are over?

13) If the human race evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

14) Note this. The next time an object is about to fall off someplace, if you try and prevent this, you will knock off another object instead. Is this some upper power trying to uphold karmic balance?

15) Why did the Japanese pilots who were planning to crash into American ships wear helmets?

16) The next you vacuum your living room floor, explain what happens when you try to vacuum a tiny thread. The vacuum will not be able to suck it. Why then will you pick it up, examine it thoroughly and instead of placing it in the dustbin, throw it back down and try to vacuum it up again?

17) A visit to one of the many soap shops that have sprung up all over and you'll find that soaps come in all kinds of colours. But then, why does the bubbles always turn out white?

18) Is it winter or summer wherever you are right now? Have you noticed that if it is summer we try and make the house as cold as it would be during winter, and if it is winter, we try and make the house as hot as it would during summer?

19) Is there any day when mattresses are not on sale?

20) When we go to the supermarket and someone hits our ankles with their cart and then apologize, why do we reply that everything is fine? Why don't we just reply, "that hurts, asshole"?

Conclusion:
There are many more than the above twenty funny odd and strange details of a human being's life, and I am always looking for more. Sometimes, just by traveling by bus you can notice so many oddities such as why do people pick up newspapers left behind on bus seats but never from anywhere else? Life is more than just funny. It is sometimes strange, sometimes ludicrous, sometimes tragic. Above, I have pointed out some of the most humourous I could think of.

Games involving cards like gin rummy is what Rammy Johnson loves to do when he has the time. He doesn't frequent online casinos or that sort of thing, but when he can he visits grand hotels with his notebook and jots down oddities he notices there.
