Pay attention to any tender spots when you massage your abdomen, they may indicate constipation.

1. Lie on the floor on your back with your arms by your sides, knees bent, and feet flat on the floor, about hip-width apart.
2. Place your right palm loosely on top of your rib cage in the center of your chest.
3. Inhale a deep, slow breath through your nose, then exhale it forcefully through your mouth.
4. Close your mouth, and tuck your chin toward your chest.
5. Hold your breath as you suck your abdominal muscles up and under your rib cage.
6. Still holding your breath, move your palm firmly in big, slow circles from the top of your ribs down to your pubic bone in a clockwise direction. Continue this movement until you need to take another breath.
7. Inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth.
8. Repeat the circles with the breath 6 more times, aiming to hold it longer each time.
9. Lay on the floor, relax and breathe normally.
